Oakley approached us with a simple idea: make a tool case to fit a Crank Bros. mini tool and ratchet. They were a little tricky, but they came out great. We made them from thin waxed canvas with a top flap and brass center stud closure. They also have a flat rear pocket to hold a credit card and cash. 

These are made for cyclocross and mountain bike mechanics to keep in their pocket at the start line, in case of any last minute adjustments need to be made. Jeff Tiedeken (Monkey Likes Shiny) did the logo work on the ratchets and Mr. Blick at Oakley got them into the right hands. Rumor has it that Tom Hopper (J Pow's mechanic) uses one!
