To be honest, it's rare that I can get on with a Kickstarter campaign. Too often I feel like the project doesn't have meaning or focus, or seems like a charity case. Cat & Cloud is different because you'll be investing in a brick and mortar location and in your community. I've known Jared and Chris for a long time and they're really good at coffee, but they also have skills to train others. It's not just about coffee roasting, but about work ethic, customer service, and management. Skills that are so important. I learned the little business sense I have, not from a business degree, but from working in the retail industry for eight years and having mentors. I rely on that foundation everyday.
